'Dynamic add reverse proxy in nginx

I would like to have some kind of dynamic setup the reverse proxy for my nginx configuration based on what customer input. Like example customer input : http://10.10.10.3 then the reverse proxy will be setup in the nginx configuration file. Any API which can help me to do that?
