'Spring Batch chunk or tasklet oriented for dependent tasks?

Sorry everyone for posting suggestion thread. I could not find correct guidance for this, hence posting it here for suggestions.

My scenario as below,

Step-1

I need to read huge record set from database table(meta data table) and update particular status column in same table for each record to notify records are picked for processing.

Step-2

Then for each record fetched in step-1, I need to call upstream system (rest API call) to get some details and do some processing, then pushing the processed data to two different Downstream systems.

Step-3 Update the each record status as successful.

Step-4

Do the cleanup if any records failed

For above all scenarios what approach to follow in Spring Batch Tasklet or Chunk oriented?
