'Quick key commands and changing browser

I am brand new to Visual Studio Code but learned html via Dreamweaver. I saw a tutorial recently which is how I learned of your app. I have a few questions:

  1. In this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku_97a6Bgkg) he auto generates some code. For example he enters a class attribute (.container) and then hits enter and it automatically creates <div class="container"</end div>. This is SO COOL!! I also noticed he does this with multiple classes, IDs, and even links (hrefs). I have no idea how he did this. Can you also do this with styles?

  2. Also in the tutorial he moves divs around several lines with a keyboard shortcut. I am used to highlighting them and hitting copy/paste.

  3. How do you highlight code and apply/remove comments?

  4. How do I change which browser is running/testing my code? It seems to be stuck on Chrome and I prefer Firefox.
