'Chown/chmod command with apache 2 with terminal
I am attempting to make a web server for a temperature sensor that is hooked up to a breadboard connecting to an Arduino. I have simply downloaded apache 2 as well as php on my Pi terminal, and when I type in sudo chown pi /var/www/html nothing seems to happen. I have tried sudo chown pi -R /var/www/html with no luck. I have looked at every forum possible with no luck. Is it simply not possible anymore to obtain ownership over those files? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
