Visual Studio Code debugging g++ question about {...}

Question

I'm trying to debug a g++ program in Visual Studio Code, but the variables only show up as {...}. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing incorrectly. I should see the variable's values instead.

What do I need to do to get the debugging to show the variable contents?
