'Using Xamarin.Forms and C#, how to connect via bluetooth to Arduino and receive message?

I'm looking all over the place, and I can't find a description of how to do this that I understand... I have to make an Android app in Xamarin.Forms, that connects via Bluetooth to an Arduino and receives from it 4 variables (2 int and 2 float) once every 10 seconds.

Could anybody please help explain how to make the connection, and how to receive information?
