'Reinitialize amplify in new environment

I recently git pulled a project that contained aws amplify. However, when I run amplify init it gives me the error Could not initialize 'dev': The specified bucket does not exist. Does anyone know how to reinit amplify and restore its existing properties (ex: auth, apis, functions, etc.) in my new environment?
