'"cannot instantiate the type BlackField"
In the following class I recieved multiple markers for the two lines BlackField and WhiteField. Since I´m new to Java I have no idea on how to solve this. My main issue must be the "Cannot instantiate the type" markers. As you can see I tried out different initializations for the variables, thtas why they are so different in the two lines. It´s an important task for my university course, maybe some of you can help me out here. Thanks in advance. enter image description here
