'Python Dynamic Game Board
I am a student and I know that in the Assignment that will be coming up in a couple weeks that we will have to make the "Print and Play" game Zombies in my Pocket. We talked about Lists, Arrays and 2D Arrays and I had asked the question of "how would one dynamically create a game board" when we were talking about the assignment at the end of the day, however the lecture did not know.
From the game I know there are 14 game squares that can be randomly placed, there is 1 game square that is the starting position, and 1 game square that can only connect to another game square totaling a 16 tiles.
Like I said for the 14 game squares, they can be randomly placed as its when the player picks up the face down tile. Not all tiles need to be used, there are 4 that need to be used (Starting, Location that has the WinItem, the door to go outside, Where the WinItem has to be placed to win the game)
Would anyone have a good starting point for this as I don't want to make a Num*Num grid for no reason? No code cause we don't have the Assignment Paper yet (comes in next class) I am also wanting to make a "Map" class to show the player where they are and what cards have already been played
