'Page flickers when select an item from dropdownlist inside contentpage in asp.net framework 4.7.2 in webforms

everytime when i select an item from dropdownlist inside updatepanel autopostback sets to true already but whole page flickers (refresh) and scroll bar moves to top while working in asp.net webforms. this problems occurs in asp.net framework 4.7.2.but in case of asp.net old framework 3.5 there is no page flickering issue kindly solve this issue.thanks
