'Is there a way to get SELECTED item in a SELECT pulldown to line up with the pulldown field in Firefox when clicked on?
Back in IE 11, when you clicked on a pulldown that already had something selected, the pulldown menu would appear, with 1/2 the visible options above the field, and the other 1/2 of the items below the field, and the selected item sitting right on top of the field that was clicked on.
In Firefox, Chrome and Edge, the visible selections start over top of the field, with the selected item now at the bottom of the visible list, usually nowhere near the field that was clicked on.
This is annoying - if you just want to select the next item down in the list from the current selection, it's not actually currently visible, so you have to scroll down a little, then move down to that location to find and select it. In IE, you could see it, and you just had to move the mouse down 1 selection and you were there. Very little effort required in IE, and a bunch of fishing around to do it in the others.
I never realized how convenient it was till I upgraded to Windows 10 from Win 7, and started using Firefox as my default browser. Activities that were previously very simple to do (lots of pulldowns used) now take quit a bit of effort to do.
Anyone know how to force this to behave more like IE?
