'How to send a specific header from a viewer-request to the origin-request in AWS lambda@edge?

I'm encountering issues of the origin header provided by the front-end not reaching the origin-request / origin-response edge lambda.

Is there any way to whitelist this header or otherwise specify that it should always be sent to the origin?
