how to delete whitespace on qrCode using java

Question

i have code like this for generate qrCode

private byte[] encodeQrCode(String text, int width, int height) {
        try {
            QRCodeWriter qrCodeWriter = new QRCodeWriter();
            BitMatrix bitMatrix = qrCodeWriter.encode(text, BarcodeFormat.QR_CODE, width, height);

            ByteArrayOutputStream pngOutputStream = new ByteArrayOutputStream();

            MatrixToImageWriter.writeToStream(bitMatrix, "PNG", pngOutputStream);
            return pngOutputStream.toByteArray();
        } catch (Exception e) {
            e.printStackTrace();
            log.error("encodeQrCode: ", e);
            return null;
        }
    }

but when i see there is white space around qrCode. my question is how to delete white space on around qrCode ?
