'How to deal with a .rawcap.dat file?
I'm using the application "Nightshooting" on my iPhone 6 to take pictures of the night sky. I just found out that the application can enable an FTP server. Using this server, I've now transferred 60 images from the iPhone to my windows computer.
The problem is, that the 60 images came as one 10MB file called RC20220219_194545.rawcap.dat. The default program to open the file is the Dell SupportAssist, but it can't open the file.
I've tried the following basic programs to open the file:
- paint.net
- VLC
- Windows media player
I think that the images contained are either composed of raw data or .jpg.
Does anybody know how to deal with this file and how to "dearchive" it?
