'googleCloudStorageR gcs_copy_object() returns 503 error

Unfortunately, I can't create a reprex for this issue, but basically I run gcs_copy_object and get the following after 5 tries:

"Error: http_503 Failed to look up stub from GcsStubs"

Any idea where to start the debugging?
