'Cant edit hosts file on a mac
I am trying to open my hosts file on a mac to edit permissions on some websites. When I input sudo nano /etc/hosts, open the hosts file, make a change and try to save it, I get an error message: "[ Error writing /etc/hosts: Operation not permitted ]", which is very strange because I am the admin of this computer, and should be able to edit it using sudo.
