'Why tools use ubuntu-cve-tracker(launchpad) as feed to detect Ubuntu CVE?
I have a basic question for Ubuntu CVE feed. Ubuntu publishes OVAL feed for automating detection of CVE. I also notice there is ubuntu-cve-tracker (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-cve-tracker) and some tools use that as source of CVE feed. I want to understand why Ubuntu OVAL feed itself is not enough. Could anyone help advise? Thanks in advance.
