'why is vhdx file unable to mount

I am trying to restore some backed up Hard Disk Image Files (vhdx) to a different machine. The files were created on a Windows 10 laptop, and the target machine runs Windows 11. The vhdx files were backed up to an external hard drive that is NTFS formatted. When I try to mount a vhdx file on the target machine, I get the following error.

So, I looked in Disk Management to see if anything is wrong. As shown below, nothing seems wrong to me.
