'Why are there no libraries for simulating Bluetooth (Mesh / Low Energy) networks in OMNeT++/INET
I am just getting started with OMNeT++ and INET. My goal is to build a network simulator for emulating a Bluetooth network which includes both Bluetooth Mesh and Bluetooth Low Energy standards.
I see that INET supports networks for various protocols on various layers from physical to application layers. However, I was surprised to see that neither the OMNeT++ module library (aside from an old unmaintained BLE library) nor the INET User's Guide mention Bluetooth models.
Am I wrong in thinking it is strange that such a widespread wireless communication protocol is not available in one of the most commonly used network simulators?
