Which course to choose salesforce or node js, if a person wants to enter into software field

Question

I'm a mechanical graduate and has 3-4 years experience in the mechanical domain and want to change my domain and get into software field. I did my fare amount of research through google and came up with two courses Salesforce & Node Js to begin with, but I couldn't able to figure out which to choose for the career growth. So. please walk me through the problems that i will face in future to prepare myself to face those things and move forward.
