'Studio will not open

I am having issues loading the Appcellerator studio, it loads the red screen then shows an error referring to the log file which is defined below.

I have deleted and then reinstalled the software to no avail.

I have tried to log in and log out using the CLI which it does correctly but using the visual studio its will not load

Solution 1:[1]

I've had the same issue and I found a solution here:

https://qiita.com/taichikanaya_1989/items/23fcbfcde8080fe637dd

As it seems, Aptana Studio seems to have issues with Java versions greater than 10. Editing the file /Applications/AptanaStudio.app/Contents/Info.plist and setting the Java path to an installed Java 8 received from /usr/libexec/java_home -V worked for me.

Solution 2:[2]

I know that this post is old but I had the same issue recently and what helped me was to edit the AptanaStudio3.ini under C:\Users\<my_user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Appcelerator\Aptana Studio\AptanaStudio3.ini and add:

-vm
<path_to_local_JDK8_folder>\bin

right before the -vmargs section. You can get the various JDK versions from Adoptium web site, they keep track on new versions.
