'Storybook + Figma Permissions on shared branches (react)

I've followed the documentation from Figma to connect react storybook with our design pages.

While this works on my local branch, when I merge into a shared branch, say master, and connect to our storybook .com page, I can't see the design anymore (see picture). I'm guessing this is because I need to be an authenticated user to connect to Figma.

How do I get the design pages to share in all branches?
