'REST Resource: users.settings.sendAs: API use in GAS

Hi,
I am writing to inquire about the API below.
https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/reference/rest/v1/users.settings.sendAs
When there is a personnel transfer in our company, some users could hold several positions concurrently and have multiple e-mail addresses.
In this case, when writing an e-mail, FROM must be set by the user, but I want to know if forced change is possible on the system side. I found the above url, is it possible to use this API in GAS?
