'Redirection http to https is getting terminated while deploying the application to Elastic Beanstalk

we have php application running on Elastic beanstalk environment. While we are trying to install https certificate using Let's Encrypt with Certbot on Amazon Linux 2 (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/SSL-on-amazon-linux-2.html), after deploying the code to Elastic beanstalk the https is getting terminated and auto redirect to http. Tutorial: Configure SSL/TLS on Amazon Linux 2 - Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud Install and configure SSL/TLS on a single EC2 instance running Amazon Linux 2 and Apache web server.

<VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "/var/www/html" ServerName "example.com" ServerAlias "www.example.com"

this line is getting deleted from httpd.conf after post deployment.
