Solution 1:[1]
Your screenshot says there is an issue parsing your HelloWorld
module since there is no appropriate loader. You need to install Babel to transpile ES2015 javascript, and Webpack to bundle your assets.
npm install --save-dev @babel/preset-env
npm install --save-dev @babel/preset-react
- Add
.babelrc
{
"presets": ["@babel/preset-env", "@babel/preset-react"]
}
- Add
webpack.config.js
const path = require('path');
const HWP = require('html-webpack-plugin');
module.exports = {
entry: path.join(__dirname, '/src/index.js'),
output: {
filename: 'build.js',
path: path.join(__dirname, '/dist')},
module:{
rules:[{
test: /\.js$/,
exclude: /node_modules/,
loader: 'babel-loader'
}]
},
plugins:[
new HWP(
{template: path.join(__dirname,'/src/index.html')}
)
]
}
