'Percent of slipped defect as a kpi

We are a team of technical folks that does the technical work in a project. We do requirements gathering, build, unit test and production deployment. Now there’s a suggestion to introduce a personal kpi called slipped defect which is calculated like this (total defects raised after go live)/(total defects raised) now this is something new and would like to hear if this is an effective kpi?
