'Line Graph: Weekly Trends for Top 5 Students

I'm trying to learn Excel by myself, so please bear with me.

I have a table of the top 5 students who won a classroom game played over 2 weeks. (The names and dates have been changed for minors' safety.)

Top 5 Table

I'm trying to look at their progress over time using a line graph. If every student is a line, I want to see their progress day-over-day. What I am envisioning is something like this:

Graph

However, when I try to graph the data I have, I am not getting results, and I can't switch the students' names and their places without manually typing in the winning place for each student. I tried to pivot the data, but I have not had much success. This is a rather large table and I hope there is some trick so that I don't have to switch the column header and the student name manually for all of these.

Can someone help figure this out?

Here is the data : TABLE TEXT

(This data will of course not be shared with the students, I'm simply trying to understand the trends at play here.)
