'Is there an RDS support for Oracle Databases in Alibaba Cloud?

Does Alibaba Cloud have RDS instances with Oracle databases?

If yes, what kind of licensing is included? I mean is there a license included or one has to bring his own license?

If no, are they in the roadmap/will be added in the future?

No, Alibaba Cloud ApsaraDB for RDS (Relational Database Service) does not support Oracle database today.

ApsaraDB for RDS is a ready-to-use service that is offered on MySQL, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

As for your question on it's roadmap, there is no news, articles or discussion on the Internet related to this.

Alibaba Cloud ApsaraDB for RDS does support Oracle MySQL Database but not Oracle Database as of now. You can reaffirm that with the product portfolio of Alibaba Cloud.

As far there is no related information regarding the roadmap of ApsaraDB for RDS - Oracle DB

As of now there is no Official RDS for oracle DB, but there is compatibility with Postgre Plus Advanced Server (PPAS) for Oracle. Billing is same as any Aliyun resources i.e. Subscription and Pay-as-you-go. Hopefully they will come with RDS for oracle soon.

As far as I know, RDS PPAS is in EOL. So far, Alibaba Cloud doesn't have cloud-managed Oracle services, but PolarDB for Oracle and RDS for PostgreSQL are good choices if Oracle-compatible services are also in your consideration.
