'Is there a way to make a get request to an API inside Airtable

I am trying to help a friend who runs a web design company automate one of his clients processes. They want me to make a request to an API for XML data and then they want to use AirTable to turn that data into readable information. I don't have access to any of the backend of his website as it is designed on one of these no code builders.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
