'HTML: Why video controls are so small on mobile device?

I've read all internet to find a solution, and I didn't. So... I want to have videos on my website, but the controls are so small that it's almost impossible to touch it. Not only controls of videos from <video> tag, but also video embeded from YouTube. On other websites I see the controls are scalling, but I dont know how to do it.

My website in version for mobile devices have 980px width. I set width of video to 100% and that's how it looks like:
