'how to detect if a Third Party is using a trusted Email to send spam to the user

I am working on a project where we have to detect if a third party uses a trusted email to send a spam mail to the user. So far I have looked into sentimental analysis, but I do not see how it would fit in, I need to know where to begin or how to begin, I could used some input on this.. thank you.
