'How to color sections of line irrespective of its data?
Imagine an X-axis of 30 points (as in, the days of a month), and each series has its own constant value throughout, so that the lines are completely horizontally straight, parallel to each other.
Can I somehow color sections of these lines, irrespective of the data? Let's say I want the first 15,6 % of the bottom line to be purple, then 37 % blue, etc, adding up to 100% in the end. Then, similar things for the line above it, and so on.
In other words, the ultimate goal is to create literal timelines of a month, and using colors -- on a scale more specific than individual days -- to color-indicate events throughout the month. Several such timelines in parallel, for one month.
Can this be done?
