'How to call APIs or Services when IAP is enabled? how to generate IAP token from local machine?

I have enabled Google cloud IAP for my Kubernetes services and know my challenge here is to configure developer machines to be able to call APIs from Postman for example.

What is the best simplest way to generate the token? and if the token should go under Authorization header?
