'How to align data labels for 2 series in 1 chart?

I have the following chart in my report that utilizes a date category group and 2 values, runs and average runtime. However the runtime series do not align with the bar chart in certain areas such as on 3/5/22 the 0 is not aligned with the 3, 3/19/22 the 8.4 is not aligned with the 7, and 3/27/22 the 42 is not aligned with the 23. Also seeking general advice on how to improve the look of this chart. enter image description here
