how to access published website on windows server and iis?

I am trying to publish a web application on IIS on windows server 2019 I have a hose which (windows server 2019) I could access to it through RDP using the public IP 185..... I have configured the IIS on the machine then I have add an inbound rule for a specific port the configured the binding of the site on IIS with the public IP and the opened port also added a binding for the local IP of the server on hosting vlan when I try to access the site from the server browser it opens successfully but when I trying to access the web sit from my laptop using the pubic IP and the port it does not work therefore, what am I missing over here ... any advice would be helpful
