'How do I remove the %20 from my file name?

I have set up my Excel Database to generate outlook emails with either a word or pdf attachment from data I have entered into a table using VBA. When I enter all of the criteria to generate the email with attachment, the attachment name always puts "John%20Doe" instead of "John Doe". does anyone know how I can get rid of the %20 and have the space between first and last name instead? Thank you in advance for your help
