'How can I upgrade the Apache IoTDB for storing the new data?

"I want to upgrade the Apache IoTDB.I want to ensure that the data is not lost. Can I just deploy the latest file and modify the data path to the previously used address？ I'm not sure about it. If someone knows it, please let me know. Apache IoTDB version: 0.12 -> 0.13"
