'How can I set up a client WAP behind a MAC filtered router?
I'm trying to set up a simple password protected WAP as a client behind a MAC filtered router (apartment building). I have been having endless trouble with this.
I added the WAP's MAC address to the router's whitelist, but the router still isn't recognizing it. Also, the router is forcing clients connected to the WAP to register their MACs every single time they connect. When they connect to the router (which also produces a Wi-Fi network), they only have to register once.
Any ideas here? Unfortunately, bypassing the router is not an option. Thank you.
