has anyone been able to create a pull request in vscode.dev

Question

I am trying something ridiculous, so I understand that this may be a challenge.

I'm on an ipad, ios 15.2. using Brave as my browser.

I am trying out vscode.dev development using github remote repositories.

I am authorized to github, able to create & pull branches. I am able to commit and push changes to remote.

However, I am not able to create a pull request using vscode.dev

This is minor as I am able to go directly to github.com and create a pr using the pushed branches.

The issue I'm seeing is vscode.dev says

I looked at configuring my remotes - not sure if this is where the issue lies. These appear to be stock when checking out the remote repo, I did not add these.

I'm having trouble figuring out how origin maps the github url

Ideas would be very much appreciated.
