'Granting/Propagating the same privilege to another role or user

When I want a user/role TO BE ABLE TO propagate/pass on a granted privilege that they have you'd use GRANT OPTION.

However is I do not want the user with the privilege to be able to propagate the privilege do I have to specify that with a query, if so what query, or do I just leave it blank (unlike having to specify GRANT OPTION for the user to be able to propagate the privilege)
