'Google Drive/Docs API Get pages and content of page

I would like to use Google Drive API to get data from my documents.

First, and most important, I need to get metadata of the document: size, characters count, words count and pages count.

In case I can accomplish the first task, it would be great to have ability to retrieve content of the document from specific pages.

Thanks for you help, guys!

P.S. I am aware that Open XML Format doesn't have "pages", so, I am ok, if I first convert word to PDF and then work with it
