'Getting Github pages usage without using JS lib like Google Analytics

So I have a Github page. I know Github doesn't make any effort to expose traffic to Github pages. My site is centered around privacy (so I don't want to use Google analytics) but i want to know how many users at least look at it. Are there any solution that doesn't include adding client JS library?
