'Format of Dma Descriptor
As all peripheral with direct memory access contact with main cpu through dma descriptor. Many devices configured with pci and pcie like standard are blessed with dma And my question is about network controller as all of them are pci and pcie specification followers. So they also uses Dma Descriptor. Is the NIC of every company in business of producing Nic have same dma descriptor format means the format of descriptor depends on particular nic or on dma controller
