'External Query in BigQuery SQL

I've been trying to set-up an external query in BigQuery through the Cloud SQL but when I call this SQL code line I get returned this error here: "Invalid table-valued function EXTERNAL_QUERY Failed to connect to MySQL database. Error code 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query". Do you know perhaps how to solve this error?
