'Exchange Mailbox Database - max 'offline' time for a successful reseed of a Mailbox Database?
Could anyone please advise if there is a maximum 'offline' time for Exchange Mailbox Databases (specifically 2016)? We currently have 2 DAGs split across 2 Datacentres. Half of both DAGs will be offline for a duration of 5-7 days while we do a physical DC relocation (don't ask - it has to be physical).
Should we be able to resume mailbox seeding to 'catch' up the Mailbox Databases after the move, or should I expect to be rebuilding them from the healthy copies that were left online?
We are talking about 150 DB's, each will be around 500-900GB each.
I have tried searching around on Microsoft TechNet but couldn't find anything definitive.
Thanks in advance.
