'Date Format Changes when loading Excel sheet to sharepoint

We are using sharepoint to host couple of excel workbooks that are then loaded in Power BI for visualisation purposes.

The problem we are facing is that we upload the data to sharepoint excel file but the format of the date column changes for 1st 12 days of month as compared to the remaining months.

I have tried setting the format of the column but that didn't help nor trying to change the format using the function. The only way of doing it is to manually modify the rows.

Any idea what it could be and how to resolve it
