'Dataset creation for QuickSight CFT doesn't support Query mode=Direct

I have created a CFT for QuickSight with the required datasources and datasets. One of the dataset is a join of multiple tables from Postgres hence i have used Query Mode-"Direct" when joining all the datasets which would mean everytime this query is run, updated data till that point of time will be fetched. But CFT doesn't allow specifying Query Mode-"Direct".It accepts only "SPICE" which means i need to have a refresh option to get the updated data.

Any suggestions to avoid SPICE Mode querying please?
