'Custom entity extractor for very short text
I am trying to build an entity extractor that can extract the shop number from the full shop name (e.g. McDonalds F1287, result should be 1287). I tried making a custom spacy ner but it does not work at all (ent.text and ent.label are blank). How can I go about doing this? Does this need DNNs? LSTM, CNN? Or transformer models?
