'Close Page vs. Refresh Page
Is there a way to detect the difference between a user clicking the refresh button and trying to close a tab? Background: I noticed something interesting on the Parks Canada website. It has a reservation system for campgrounds, and at a certain time/date, users on that page are assigned a random place in a queue - when their number comes up its their turn to reserve. At the top of the page a sentence says, "You can close this page without losing your place in line.". Down a little further it says, "Do not refresh this page - if you refresh this page, you will move to the back of the line.". How can you do that?
