'Can't get mitmproxy to intercept tcp packets from local program on windows
I've just found out about mitmproxy as a possible solution for my little experiment.
My objective is to intercept the TCP packets my trading application is sending out anytime one of my orders gets filled. Eventually I'd like to build an app that gets this info and saves it to an excel file for logging purposes.
I've set mitmproxy to intercept tcp by running mtmproxy --tcp .* I can see it reading tcp that's being initiated by my browser, but I can't see any traffic happening from my trading application. I've set windows to proxy all traffic through localhost:8080 which is where mitmproxy is listening. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here but perhaps mitmproxy is only setup to intercept browser traffic?
How can I get mitmproxy to listen to non-browser tcp traffic on my windows machine?
